Mor Hindi Bhavan, Nagpur saw the release of 'Samyak Vichar Vedh', an anthology of poems on Wednesday. The poems that are based on the teachings of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Gautam Buddha describes ways to create an ideal society.
The book written by poet Bhimrao Gondane reflects the belief of the writer that the foundation of an ideal society should be based on a humanitarian and rational approach and shouldn’t be based on religious beliefs. The book release ceremony was jointly organized by Samajik Purna Bandhilki Abhiyan and Samyak Vichar Manch.
Sandhya Saratkar, a social worker, said, "Humanitarian belief is the backbone of Dr. Ambedkar and Gautam Buddha's views and the poet has conveyed the same idea. The poet has hammered the conscience of readers to think rationally rather than believing blindly in superstition."
Addressing the guests at the book release function, poet Yashwant Manohar was full of appreciation for the enthusiasm and revolutionary writings of Gondane. Even at the age of 71, the poet's writings create his image as a young revolutionary who wants to bring about changes in society through his creations.
After the book release function, thinker Prakash Kharat said that the poet has provided a revolutionary literature in the Ambedkar-Phule movement. His writings promote brotherhood and challenge the rotten views of casteism.
