Women safety is a topmost priority these days. Hence major step was recently taken by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), especially for the women passengers.
Starting from the next month, first two doors of Bengaluru Metro will be only for women. Mahendra Jain, the Managing Director of BMRCL said the idea was to ensure the convenience for the women while they are entering and getting down from the train.
He also added that soon there will be six coaches instead of four and then the first two shall be allocated only for women.
