The annual carnival is set to take place from February 18-21 in four major locations in Goa – Panjim, Mapusa, Margao and Vasco. If you haven't experienced Goa's famous annual carnival, you're missing out on a lot of fun. The Goa Carnival is a cultural extravaganza that showcases the different aspects of Goan culture through colourful processions, floats, performances, masquerade balls, and local delicacies.
The carnival starts with the grandest procession in Panjim, led by the Carnival King Momo, followed by a long trail of musicians, dancers, acrobats and people dressed in colourful and interesting costumes.
